LAB14 excursions & dinner and party
The 14th Symposium on Lactic Acid Bacteria took place in Egmond aan Zee. The 500 international attendees stayed in Hotel Zuiderduin, an elegant and iconic hotel with unparalleled seaviews. The scientific program focused on the role Lactic Acid Bacteria play in the production of food and feed, how they promote health through probiotic applications and showcase new technical advances.
There was a social program as well and Dutch Matters was happy to took care of that! Guests could opt for a Amsterdam guided city walk, a visit to the renowned Rijksmuseum, or to the Micropia, a unique museum showcasing the invisible world of micro-organisms. We organized the program, logistics, guidance during the excursions, as well as a dinner and a party at the venue De Rode Hoed in Amsterdam. A walking dinner was followed by a live performance of the band The New Party. What’s in a name?
